Who should apply?
NEET PG 2026-qualified doctors who meet the applicable qualification, internship and registration rules.
All-India candidates considering eligible S1A seats in non-minority private colleges.
Andhra Pradesh local candidates eligible for S1B or the specified Government self-financing pool.
NRI/eligible NRI blood-relative candidates with the complete documentary chain required for S2.
Eligible institution-sponsored candidates seeking S3 seats.
Choice strategy before the seat matrix
Do not rank a college only by brand name. For every contemplated option, compare official recognition/status, branch fit, clinical load, ICU/emergency/OT exposure, hands-on opportunity, academics, workload, tuition, stipend, bond, location and living cost. MD/MS versus DNB choices remain branch- and institute-specific; this notice concerns Dr NTRUHS MD/MS/PG Diploma Management Quota admissions and should not be mixed with MCC DNB data.
Because the seat matrix and merit list are not yet published, no reliable branch-wise admission chance or cutoff can be calculated from this notice alone. Outcomes will depend on NEET PG rank, category/subcategory, local-area eligibility, college/branch order, budget, verified seats and round movement.
NRI-lapsed rule
If S2 NRI seats remain vacant in Phase III or later, the prospectus first treats them as NRI-lapsed seats for other eligible Management Quota candidates at the NRI tuition fee. If seats still remain, vacant S2 and S3 seats may be converted to S1 during Stray Round(s), where the S1 fee applies. Minority-college preference and limits continue as stated in the prospectus.
Doctor action checklist
Read both the notification and full prospectus before payment.
Confirm S1A, S1B, S2, S3, self-financing or NRI eligibility; do not infer eligibility from fee payment.
Prepare legible scans of original documents, including all category/NRI/institutional documents where applicable.
Apply through the official Dr NTRUHS portal during the correct window and retain the submitted form and receipts.
Do not wait for 24 October unless necessary; the late fee is substantial and the window lasts only one day.
Watch for the seat matrix, provisional/final merit list and separate web-option notice.
