How doctors should use this update
Register even if your final preference order is not ready: application completion is mandatory for the subsequent counselling and allotment process.
Respect the two different 23 October cutoffs: fee payment ends at 5:00 PM; the application closes at 11:55 PM.
Build choices by branch and institute fit: compare clinical exposure, patient load, academics, recognition/status, fees, stipend, bond/service obligations, location and career plans—not prestige alone.
Treat MD/MS, DNB and Post MBBS Diploma separately: eligibility and training setting differ. The published DNB and diploma seats are specifically retained for eligible regular in-service candidates.
Check the final college-level economics: security deposit is not the tuition fee. Verify annual tuition, other mandatory charges, stipend and service obligations in official college/government documents before locking.
Recheck the portal before auto-lock: the seat matrix is provisional and choices auto-lock at 11:45 PM on 29 October 2026.
No admission guarantee: allotment depends on NEET PG rank, eligibility, domicile, category/quota, choice order, seat availability and round movement.
