Important participation rules

  • No fresh registration for Round 2: the current registration covers Rounds 1 and 2. Candidates who may want Round 2 participation should not miss the 28 October registration/payment window.

  • Choice locking: candidates may save, lock and unlock choices using OTP before the deadline. Saved but unlocked choices are automatically locked after 31 October at 11:59 PM.

  • Round 1 free exit: a candidate surrendering a Round 1 seat within the notified window can participate in Round 2 but must submit fresh choices because earlier choices become null and void.

  • Round 2 non-reporting consequence: the notice states that a Round 2 allottee who does not complete verification/admission may remain eligible for Round 3 only with fresh fee/security payment; earlier choices become null and void.

  • Private-college warning: verify the course-wise college fee and every additional charge before registration and choice filling. BCECEB does not take responsibility for private-college fee structures.

Choice-filling decision support

Build the preference list by course and institution, not by a single cutoff number. Compare recognised course status, clinical exposure, patient load, hands-on opportunities, academics, stipend, annual and total fees, security deposit, service bond or discontinuation penalty, location and future career plans. MD/MS, PG Diploma, DNB Degree and DNB Diploma pathways should be assessed separately because training setting, examination pathway and eligibility can differ.

No admission guarantee: allotment depends on NEET-PG rank, Bihar eligibility, category/quota, choice order, seat availability and round movement. Use the official seat matrix scheduled for 21 October before finalising choices.
