Fresh Choices Are Mandatory
This is one of the most important rules in the notification.
BFUHS states:
Candidates must submit fresh choices/preferences for Round 2.
Choices submitted during Round 1 will be treated as:
NULL AND VOID
So students must not assume their Round 1 preference list automatically carries forward.
Round 2 Choice Filling
BFUHS schedules online choice submission for:
8β10 September 2026
Deadline:
10 September β 5:00 PM
Candidates can select:
- course
- college
- quota
- category
through the BFUHS counselling portal.
After the deadline, choices are automatically locked and BFUHS says requests for changing them will not be entertained.
Round 2 Candidate Eligibility
BFUHS lists the following groups as eligible:
Group I
Registered candidates who received no Round 1 allotment.
Group II
Candidates whose Round 1 allotment was cancelled during document verification and who remain eligible under the corrected category, subject to vacancy.
Group III
Candidates who joined their Round 1 college and submit YES for Round 2 upgradation.
Group IV
Candidates who were allotted a Round 1 seat but did not join.
Group V
Candidates who resigned online within the permitted timeframe from their Round 1 seat.
Who Is Not Eligible?
BFUHS states that candidates are not eligible if:
- they became ineligible due to inadequate documents under applicable eligibility rules; or
- they have not registered in either Round 1 or Round 2.

The schedule shows physical submission on:
7 September and 8 September 2026
Candidates should use the separate NRI Eligibility Certificate and Admission Application forms available on the BFUHS website.
Keep the NRI route separate from ordinary State/Private counselling.
Minority Candidates
Candidates applying under Minority Quota must report to the concerned Minority Institution for eligibility verification on:
7 September 2026
This is separate from general Round 2 registration.
Sports Category
Sports-category candidates must submit the prescribed printed application copies, Sports Gradation Certificate and supporting records in person at BFUHS.

- complete joining/admission formalities.
Window:
16β18 September 2026
Deadline:
18 September β 5:00 PM
Round 2 Exit / Security Risk
Candidates need to understand the financial consequences.
If a Round 2 seat is allotted and the candidate fails to join:
- security deposit may be forfeited;
- the candidate can participate in further rounds subject to the rules;
- fresh registration/security payment may be required for Round 3.
If a candidate joins Round 2 and later resigns during an allowed period, the security deposit is also subject to forfeiture under the published rules.
Important BFUHS Date Discrepancy
The official Round 2 PDF visually prints:
07.08.2026
against:
βDisplay of Tentative Vacancy Position on University Website.β
This date conflicts with the rest of the September Round 2 sequence.
Hire Guide Education is therefore not silently changing that date.
β οΈ Candidates should wait for BFUHS to publish the vacancy matrix or issue a correction/clarification rather than relying on an inferred date.
Round 2 Choice Strategy
Do not reuse your Round 1 choice list blindly.
Build a fresh preference order using:
2026 Round 1 allotment/cutoff + Round 2 vacancies + Category + Quota + College fee + Minority/NRI eligibility + True preference
For HGE analysis, Government, Private, Minority and NRI seats should remain separate because their eligibility, fee and cutoff behaviour differ significantly.

Hire Guide Education Advice
The two biggest student-action points are:
Fresh registration closes 5 September at 5 PM
and
Willingness is mandatory for Round 2 participation.
Most importantly, Round 1 choices do not carry forward. Every participating candidate should create a fresh Round 2 choice list.
