# Gujarat NEET UG 2026 Round 2 Forfeiture Lists Out: 714 Candidates Removed; 7,559 Admitted Up to Round 2
Gujarat’s Admission Committee, ACPUGMEC, has released important post-reporting data for Round 2 of MBBS and BDS counselling on 19 September 2026.
The authority has published:
1. A list of candidates whose refundable security deposit has been forfeited and who have been removed from the merit list because they did not report in Round 2.
2. A separate list for candidates whose deposit has been forfeited and who have been removed after cancelling a Round 2 admission.
3. An institute-wise list of admitted candidates up to Round 2.
> Important: If your name appears in either forfeiture list, do not assume that you will automatically remain eligible for Round 3. Check your candidate login and follow the fresh registration and security-deposit requirements stated in the next official Round 3 notice.
## What Has Happened?
The official non-reporting PDF contains 711 candidates. The separate cancellation PDF contains 3 candidates. Therefore, 714 candidates are covered by the newly published Round 2 forfeiture/removal lists.
ACPUGMEC has also published an institute-wise admitted-candidate list containing 7,559 admissions up to Round 2 across MBBS and BDS.
## Official Data Summary
| Official data set | MBBS | BDS | Total |
|---|---:|---:|---:|
| Admitted up to Round 2 | 6,684 | 875 | 7,559 |
| Recorded as admitted in Round 2 | 2,777 | 460 | 3,237 |
| Non-reporting forfeiture/removal list | 439 | 272 | 711 |
| Cancellation forfeiture/removal list | 3 | 0 | 3 |
The admitted totals are counted from the official institute-wise PDF. The Round 2 figures are derived from the “Adm Round” column in that document.
## Quota-wise Admitted Data
| Quota | Round 1 admissions retained in cumulative list | Round 2 admissions | Admitted up to Round 2 |
|---|---:|---:|---:|
| Government Quota (GQ) | 4,102 | 2,247 | 6,349 |
| Management Quota (MQ) | 151 | 977 | 1,128 |
| NRI Quota (NQ) | 69 | 13 | 82 |
| Total | 4,322 | 3,237 | 7,559 |
## Forfeiture List Breakdown
The 711 non-reporting cases are distributed as follows:
| Course / quota | Number |
|---|---:|
| MBBS | 439 |
| BDS | 272 |
| Government Quota | 383 |
| Management Quota | 322 |
| NRI Quota | 6 |
The cancellation list adds 3 MBBS candidates: 2 Government Quota and 1 NRI.
## Who Is Affected?
This update directly affects candidates whose names or roll numbers appear in either official forfeiture/removal PDF.
It also matters to candidates planning Round 3 because these cases may influence the later vacancy position. However, this publication is not the official Round 3 vacancy matrix.
## What Affected Candidates Should Do Now
1. Download both official forfeiture/removal PDFs.
2. Search using your NEET roll number or candidate name.
3. Log in to the official candidate portal and check your current status.
4. Save screenshots and copies of the official list entry.
5. If you believe the entry is incorrect, contact ACPUGMEC immediately through the official channels and retain proof of reporting, fee payment, admission order or cancellation processing.
6. Wait for the official Round 3 registration, deposit, eligibility and choice-filling notice.
7. Do not pay any person claiming they can privately restore your merit status.
## Important Rules
ACPUGMEC’s published four-round instructions state that a candidate who defaults after a Round 2 allotment may need fresh registration, a new non-refundable PIN/registration fee and a new refundable security deposit to participate in Round 3.
The exact next action must be confirmed from the new Round 3 notice and the candidate portal. Eligibility should never be assumed only from social-media messages.
## Hire Guide Education Analysis
The cumulative admitted list shows 7,559 admissions, of which 3,237 are recorded in Round 2. Round 2 therefore accounts for about 42.8% of the admissions shown in the cumulative list.
MBBS represents 6,684 admissions, while BDS represents 875 admissions. Government Quota accounts for 6,349 of the 7,559 cumulative admissions.
The non-reporting forfeiture list is also substantial: 711 candidates, including 439 MBBS and 272 BDS cases. Management Quota contributes 322 of these cases.
These numbers may create later vacancies, but students should not convert the forfeiture count directly into a Round 3 seat count. Seats can be affected by upgrades, category/seat conversion, revised matrices, institutional status and other official reconciliation. Use only ACPUGMEC’s forthcoming vacancy matrix for Round 3 choice filling.
## Admission Strategy for Round 3
- Build a fresh preference order from the official Round 3 seat matrix, not from rumours about “vacant seats.”
- Keep course, college, GQ/MQ/NRI quota and fee affordability separate.
- Do not place a college above another unless you genuinely prefer it and can complete its fee and reporting conditions.
- Candidates affected by forfeiture should first establish portal eligibility and deposit requirements.
- BDS candidates should check every acceptable dental college because movement can differ sharply from MBBS.
- Admission depends on merit rank, category, quota, choices, vacancies and round movement. No seat can be guaranteed.
## Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Assuming a name is absent without checking by roll number.
- Treating “removed from merit list” as a minor status message.
- Waiting for a final-hour reminder instead of checking the portal now.
- Paying a fresh deposit before confirming the official Round 3 process.
- Treating the cumulative admitted list as a vacancy list.
- Using a screenshot or coaching message instead of the official PDF.

6. CANDIDATE ADMISSION STRATEGY
- Listed candidate: verify list entry and portal status immediately; preserve proof; contact ACPUGMEC if the record appears wrong.
- Round 2 admitted and satisfied: retain admission documents and track the next official instructions.
- Round 2 admitted but seeking upgrade: confirm that your admission status and later-round eligibility remain valid before exercising choices.
- No allotment: wait for the official Round 3 matrix and register/consent only as officially required.
- Forfeiture/removal candidate: prepare for possible fresh registration and fresh deposit, but act only after the official Round 3 notice or portal instruction.
- All candidates: compare college, quota, tuition fee, hostel, bond and affordability before choice filling.
