ACPUGMEC has opened the second-round registration process for Gujarat MBBS and BDS admissions for Academic Year 2026–27.

The process begins from 1 September 2026.

Gujarat Round 2 Registration Schedule

Important

The PIN-purchase deadline and registration deadline are not the same time.

PIN Purchase

Closes:

4 September — 12:00 Noon

Online Registration

Closes later the same day:

4 September — 4:00 PM

Do not wait until 4 PM to purchase the PIN.

Who Needs This Round 2 Registration Window?

This registration opportunity is particularly important for eligible candidates who did not complete registration in Round 1.

Candidates who were already properly registered and verified during Round 1 should not unnecessarily create a duplicate registration.

Candidates who purchased a PIN earlier but did not complete registration/verification should carefully follow the Round 2 instructions before making another payment.

Registration Fee / Security Deposit

The Round 2 PIN process carries:

• ₹1,000 — non-refundable registration fee
• ₹10,000 — refundable security deposit

Total

₹11,000

Candidates should purchase the PIN only through the official ACPUGMEC admission portal.

Document Verification Is Mandatory

After completing online registration, candidates must complete the prescribed document-verification process at an authorised Help Centre.

The verification window runs:

2 September → 5 September 2026

Final deadline:

5 September — 12:00 Noon

Candidates should book the required Help Centre appointment during the registration process as instructed by ACPUGMEC.

Quotas Covered in Gujarat MBBS/BDS Counselling

ACPUGMEC conducts admission for 100% seats of Gujarat medical/dental colleges across applicable:

• Government Quota — GQ
• Management Quota — MQ
• NRI Quota — NQ

Local/institution-specific eligibility also applies wherever officially notified.

Do not compare the cutoff of one quota directly with another.

NRI Candidates — Keep Route Separate

NRI candidates must follow the additional NRI documentation and processing requirements published by ACPUGMEC.

NRI seats should be analysed separately from:

• Government Quota
• Management Quota

ACPUGMEC also states that vacant NRI seats may be converted into Management Quota seats according to the counselling rules during subsequent processing.

PwD Candidates

Candidates claiming PwD reservation must:

• take the required online appointment;
• appear before the notified Medical Board;
• carry the required disability certificate/documents.

PwD remains a horizontal reservation claim and should not be treated as an independent vertical category in cutoff analysis.

Gujarat Round 1 Reporting Is Still Running

An important overlap exists this week.

While Round 2 fresh registration starts today, Round 1 allotted candidates are still completing their admission/reporting formalities.

Therefore:

⚠️ Round 2 registration opening does NOT automatically mean the final Round 2 vacancy matrix is already available.

The eventual Round 2 vacancies can change after:

• Round 1 non-joining
• admission cancellation
• MCC movement
• surrendered seats
• NRI/PwD conversion
• other permitted category/quota conversion

Students should wait for the official Round 2 vacancy/seat matrix before making final choice-filling predictions.

Category Conversion — Important for Round 2

ACPUGMEC's current admission instructions state that vacant reserved-category seats can be transferred according to the applicable rules during the second round.

Examples include:

• NRI → Management
• SC → General/Open
• ST → General/Open
• SEBC → General/Open
• EWS → General/Open
• PwD → corresponding parent category

This can materially change Round 2 seat availability.

1. Open the official ACPUGMEC MBBS/BDS portal.
2. Confirm whether you already have a valid Round 1 registration.
3. If fresh registration is required, purchase the PIN.
4. Complete online registration.
5. Upload/enter all details carefully.
6. Select the Help Centre appointment as instructed.
7. Prepare originals and photocopies.
8. Check category/EWS/SEBC/PwD validity.
9. NRI candidates should complete the separate NRI formalities.
10. Do not wait until 4 September to start the process.
