West Bengal NEET PG 2026 Round 1 Reporting: 3–5 November
The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee has issued its Round 1 admission notice for NEET PG 2026. Candidates allotted an MD/MS/PG Diploma or DNB seat must download their allotment result from the candidate login and complete physical reporting between 03 and 05 November 2026.
Verified Round 1 timeline
Stage | Official date/time | Candidate action |
|---|---|---|
Round 1 result | 02 November 2026, after 04:00 PM | Download the individual result from candidate login. |
Physical reporting | 03–05 November 2026, 11:00 AM–04:00 PM | Appear in person with originals, complete payment and collect the admission letter. |
The official documents do not state a time zone. HGE has therefore preserved the times exactly as printed and has not added one.
Where to report and what to pay
Allotment type | Reporting point | Verified payment requirement |
|---|---|---|
State government seat | NIC software centre, Ground Floor, Swasthya Bhawan | ₹2,000 candidate deposit |
Government-quota open seat in a private college | NIC software centre, Ground Floor, Swasthya Bhawan | ₹5,000 candidate deposit |
Private management-quota seat | NIC software centre, Ground Floor, Swasthya Bhawan | ₹10,000 candidate deposit plus a demand draft equal to one semester tuition fee, in favour of the allotted college authority and payable at Kolkata |
WBMCC states that cash will not be accepted. The notice specifies debit card, credit card or demand draft as applicable. A private management-quota candidate must take the authenticated demand draft and original documents to the allotted college; the college then completes admission through the central server.
Documents to carry
Document group | Officially listed items |
|---|---|
Counselling records | Verified-candidate slip and provisional allotment result from candidate login |
NEET PG records | Admit card and rank card |
Medical qualification | MBBS marksheets, MBBS passing certificate, internship completion certificate and PG registration certificate |
Identity and domicile | Domicile proof, age proof/Madhyamik admit card and government-issued photo ID |
Category or service claim | Relevant category certificate and, where applicable, service/NOC/fitness documents specified in the notice |
Carry the original documents and photocopies. The reporting authority or allotted institution must verify the originals before admission is generated.
Upgradation decision during reporting
Round 1 candidates must indicate during reporting whether they are willing to participate in a subsequent round for upgradation. The practical decision is:
Keep the present seat without seeking a higher preference: report, complete admission and select no upgradation when the portal declaration is generated.
Retain the present admission while seeking a higher preference: report, complete admission and select willingness for upgradation.
Do not assume a seat is secured merely because it appears in the result: complete the required physical reporting and obtain the system-generated admission letter.
The notice does not use “Freeze,” “Float” or “Free Exit” terminology, so those labels have not been imported into this guidance.
Result and cutoff analysis
The current public WBMCC page provides the admission notice and revised seat matrix, but it does not expose a complete candidate-level Round 1 allotment dataset for independent opening/closing-rank analysis. HGE therefore does not publish inferred branch-wise or category-wise cutoffs from this event. Candidates should rely on their own allotment result for the allotted institute, course, quota and category.
