MCC extends NEET PG 2026 PwD primary assessment to 2 Nov and opens the appellate window 29 Oct–5 Nov.
MCC NEET PG 2026 PwD Assessment Extended: Primary Till 2 Nov, Appeal Till 5 Nov
MCC has placed revised PwD medical-assessment windows on its official PG Counselling 2026 page. The Primary Assessment Board portal remains available until 6:00 PM on 2 November 2026. The Appellate Board portal will be available from 29 October 2026 until 6:00 PM on 5 November 2026.
This is relevant to candidates using the PwD category in the MCC NEET PG 2026 counselling route. It is an assessment/certification update, not a new seat matrix or allotment result.
Verified revised schedule
Assessment route | Earlier official schedule | Current MCC portal window |
|---|---|---|
Primary Assessment Board | 1 Oct to 9 Oct 2026, 5:00 PM | Open until 2 Nov 2026, 6:00 PM |
Appellate Board | 5 Oct, 10:00 AM to 12 Oct 2026, 5:00 PM | 29 Oct to 5 Nov 2026, 6:00 PM |
Old → New: The September notice carried the earlier dates above. The live MCC PG page now displays the later windows and is the currently applicable official portal update for timing.
What PwD candidates should do
Primary assessment: if your MCC process requires primary PwD assessment, use the official medical-assessment-centre list and complete it before 6:00 PM on 2 November 2026.
Appeal/reassessment: if you are eligible to use the appeal process, follow the PG Information Bulletin and official Appellate Board list. The portal window is 29 October to 6:00 PM on 5 November 2026.
Match the centre to the disability specialty: the official list identifies each board, city, available specialties and nodal contact. Do not assume every centre can assess every disability type.
Keep proof: retain portal acknowledgements, assessment records, eligibility certificate and board communications.
Use MCC’s current portal: the September PDF contains expired dates; rely on the live MCC PG page for revised timing.
What changes for my rank, branch or category?
PwD candidates: this reopens or extends a time-sensitive opportunity to complete the assessment/certification process. The update does not itself grant PwD eligibility; the medical board and applicable NMC/MCC rules determine eligibility.
Non-PwD candidates: there is no action from this update. It does not change your rank, branch order, category, seat matrix or allotment.
Rank and branch: no opening or closing ranks are published. Do not infer a cutoff change from the assessment extension.
