The DNB schedule does not state an automatic-lock rule, so candidates should lock their DNB choices themselves before the closing time.

Management Quota PG Degree/Diploma

Includes the streams named in the schedule; quota-specific eligibility and documents still apply.

What Changes for My Rank, Branch or Category?

  • Government Quota rank 001–7952: verify that your name and stream remain eligible, then build a preference order using the operative matrix once available.

  • Management Quota rank 001–3643: verify Minority/NRI or other stream documents where claimed; do not assume Government Quota rules or costs.

  • DNB candidates: use the separate DNB merit list and schedule. MD/MS general-rank ranges do not define DNB eligibility.

  • PwD candidates: use the separate PwD eligibility publication and operative PwD schedule; the general Round 1 window in this article should not be substituted for a PwD-specific order.

Choice-Filling Strategy

Fill only choices you are prepared to accept, but include a sufficiently broad list across ambitious, target and safer options where the matrix and your eligibility support them. Order choices by genuine preference—not by perceived probability—because the system attempts the highest available option in your submitted order. Compare branch fit, training quality, patient load, procedures, academic support, fees, stipend, bond/service conditions and location using reliable official sources. This schedule does not itself publish college-wise seats, cutoffs, stipend or bond figures, so no unsupported comparison is included here.

Candidate Checklist

  1. Confirm the correct route: Government Quota, Management/Minority/NRI, or service-candidate DNB.

  2. Confirm your name and exact General Rank/merit-list status.

  3. Use only the official Tamil Nadu Selection Committee page and the counselling link it activates.

  4. Pay the required registration fee and security deposit for your stream.

  5. Review every choice and its order before locking.

  6. For MD/MS/PG Diploma, remember that unlocked choices are automatically locked at the published close; DNB candidates should lock manually because the DNB schedule does not state auto-lock.

  7. Save payment receipts, the final choice list and locking confirmation.

  8. After the 5 November result, download the allotment order by 10 November, 3:00 PM and join by 10 November, 5:00 PM if allotted.

Source note: Both complete three-page PDFs were read. They are signed by the Selection Committee, with the DNB PDF also naming the Additional Director of Medical Education & Research/Secretary. Neither PDF prints a formal notice number or issue date. The schedules were observed in the live official October 2026 listing on 30 October 2026, and no later superseding schedule was listed during the final source check.
