Tripura NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 2 Revised Result OUT
🚨 IMPORTANT CORRECTION: TRMCC has cancelled the earlier Round 2 Provisional Allotment Result and published a REVISED Provisional Allotment Result. Candidates must check the revised allotment even if they already checked the earlier result.
The Tripura Medical Counselling Committee has officially published the Revised Provisional Allotment Result of Round 2 of Tripura Undergraduate Medical Counselling 2026.
This is not simply a re-upload.
The official notification clearly states that the earlier Round 2 provisional result stands cancelled.
Why Was the Result Revised?
TRMCC's UG counselling portal had earlier informed candidates that the first provisional Round 2 allotment result was withdrawn due to technical issues.
TRMCC has now replaced it with the revised result.
Therefore:
Old HGE Result: ❌ Replace / mark superseded
Current Official Result: ✅ Revised Provisional Round 2 Allotment Result
Candidates should make reporting and admission decisions only from the revised result.
Critical Reporting Deadlines
DME Reporting
Started: 15 September 2026 — 12 Noon
Last Date: 18 September 2026 — 2:00 PM
All provisionally allotted candidates must report to:
Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Bidurkarta Chowmohani Agartala, Tripura
with the prescribed eligibility and qualification documents.
College Admission Deadline
Admission at the allotted institution is permitted from:
15 September 2026
until
18 September 2026 — 5:00 PM
🚨 DME reporting closes at 2 PM, while final admission closes at 5 PM on 18 September. Do not confuse these two deadlines.
Revised Result — Important Data Analysis
The revised official PDF contains:
420 allotment records
But there is an important data-quality point for students and for HGE.
420 must NOT automatically be described as 420 MBBS/BDS seats.
The combined Tripura Undergraduate Medical Counselling result also contains allotments from other health streams.
For example, the revised result includes a BHMS allotment, which belongs to AYUSH and must remain separate from HGE's MBBS/BDS analysis.
Therefore:
- MBBS → analyse separately
- BDS → analyse separately
- AYUSH → separate counselling/data route
- Never merge all 420 records into an MBBS/BDS seat figure.
MBBS Result Trends
The revised result shows allotments across several medical institutes/routes including:
- Agartala Government Medical College
- Tripura Medical College & Dr. BRAM Teaching Hospital
- Tripura Santiniketan Medical College
- Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal
- applicable State-nominated/outside-State seats
The result contains three important allotment statuses:
Fresh
Candidate received a fresh Round 2 allotment.
Upgraded
Candidate moved to a higher-preference seat in Round 2.
Retain
Candidate retained the existing allotted seat.
These statuses must be preserved during HGE cutoff/result extraction because Fresh + Upgraded + Retain are not equivalent for vacancy and cutoff interpretation.
AGMC Shows Strong Competition
At the top of the revised result, Agartala Government Medical College MBBS allotments appear among candidates with relatively strong NEET ranks.
The revised list starts with:
AIR 29,471 — 561 marks
and includes numerous AGMC MBBS allotments through different reservation categories and subcategories.
However, this should not be treated as one universal AGMC closing rank.
Why?
Because Tripura Round 2 includes:
- UR
- SC
- ST
- EWS
- PwD
- WESM
- domicile differences
- State nominations
- Fresh / Upgraded / Retained allotments
Each must be analysed independently.
Private MBBS Movement Is Much Wider
The revised list demonstrates substantially deeper rank movement in private medical colleges.
Tripura Medical College and Tripura Santiniketan Medical College appear repeatedly at significantly higher AIR ranges than Government MBBS.
The tail of the revised result extends beyond:
AIR 11 lakh
for some private MBBS allotments involving applicable categories/domicile situations.
⚠️ This does NOT mean every candidate up to AIR 11 lakh can get private MBBS in Tripura.
The relevant factors remain:
Domicile + Category + Quota + College + Fee + Available Seat + Choice Order + Round Movement
BDS Round 2 Movement
The revised result contains BDS allotments at:
Agartala Government Dental College
and State-nominated dental seats including institutions outside Tripura.
Examples in the revised result show Government BDS allotments across UR, SC, ST, EWS and applicable special categories.
BDS allotment movement extends substantially deeper than the top Government MBBS ranks.
Students considering BDS should therefore compare:
Round 1 BDS Cutoff → Revised Round 2 BDS Result → Category → Remaining Vacancy
rather than using MBBS cutoff movement.
Important for Upgraded Candidates
Candidates marked Upgraded should carefully check their new allotted institution.
Once an earlier seat is displaced through upgradation, the candidate should follow the revised allotment and reporting instructions applicable to the new seat.
Do not rely on an earlier Round 1 or withdrawn Round 2 allotment.
Documents Required at DME
The official revised notification instructs allotted candidates to bring:
- Eligibility documents
- Qualification documents
- Category/subcategory documents, where applicable
- 4 passport-size photographs
- Executed applicable bonds
Original documents will subsequently be physically verified at the admitting institution.
Service Bond — Important
All allotted candidates must execute the applicable:
Service Bond
and submit it to the DME office.
Only after this process will the nomination against the allotted seat/institution be issued where applicable.
Candidates must also submit the:
Discontinuation Bond
at the admitting institution during admission.
Candidates Allotted Outside Tripura
Candidates receiving an institution outside Tripura should report to DME as early as possible.
They may additionally need to obtain:
- DME nomination
- Fitness certificate from Agartala Government Medical College
before proceeding to the allotted institution.
Do not wait until the final reporting hours.
Allotment Is Still Provisional
TRMCC clearly states that allotment and nomination remain provisional and depend upon successful verification of:
- Eligibility
- Qualification
- Category
- Subcategory
- Original documents
False, fabricated, incomplete or invalid documents can lead to cancellation of allotment/admission.
What Students Should Do Now
- Ignore the withdrawn earlier Round 2 result.
- Download the Revised Provisional Allotment Result.
- Search your NEET Roll Number.
- Check your new allotted institute, course, category and allotment status.
- Note whether your status is Fresh, Upgraded or Retain.
- Prepare original documents and 4 photographs.
- Complete the applicable Service Bond.
- Report to DME before 18 September, 2 PM.
- Complete institutional admission before 18 September, 5 PM.
- Keep checking TRMCC for subsequent vacancy/Round 3 notices.
🚨 Do not use a screenshot or allotment information from the withdrawn first Round 2 result. Use only the revised official result.
Hire Guide Education Analysis
The revised result is especially valuable for planning the next round.
HGE should extract the revised allotment into:
College + Course + Candidate AIR + Score + Category + Allotted Category + Domicile + Fresh/Upgraded/Retain
This will allow the next-round strategy to identify:
- actual Government MBBS movement
- private MBBS movement
- category-wise closing ranks
- BDS movement
- upgradation patterns
- likely vacancy creation
- Safe / Possible / Dream choices
