This notification is crucial for candidates who have joined seats in Round 1 or Round 2 and wish to surrender them, as well as for candidates planning to register freshly or seek seat upgradation in Round 3.

5. Critical Instructions for Aspirants & Parents
In-Person Seat Resignation Protocol: If you have joined a college in Punjab and wish to exit before Round 3, you must personally report to the Principal's office of your allotted college with your original admission slip before 02:00 PM on 28 September 2026. The university will outright reject any resignation submitted via email or postal mail.
Security Deposit Forfeiture: Resigning from a joined seat results in the forfeiture of your previous security deposit. Ensure you have calculated the financial impact before proceeding.
Mandatory Willingness Submission: Every candidate wishing to participate in Round 3—whether already registered or freshly applying—must submit online 'Willingness' on the BFUHS portal and pay the appropriate security deposit. Candidates who fail to submit willingness will not be permitted to fill choices.
Allotment Binding: Seats allotted in Round 3 are final. Candidates who fail to report between 12 October and 14 October 2026 risk debarment from further stray vacancy rounds.
