Revised Provisional Result Is Now Superseded

The previous status was:

Revised Provisional Round-2 Result

That result was still subject to change and candidates were specifically told to wait for the Final Result.

MCC has now published the:

FINAL ROUND 2 RESULT

Therefore Hire Guide Education should stop displaying the revised provisional result as the active result version.

Reporting Has Started

MCC's official UG counselling page now specifically states:

Reporting for Round 2 of UG Counselling 2026 has started.

Candidates allotted a seat in the Final Round-2 Result should now complete the applicable admission/reporting process according to MCC and allotted-institute instructions.

The controlling MCC schedule fixes:

Last Date of Joining — 18 September 2026

Do not wait until the final day if travel, document verification, medical examination or fee payment is required.

What Candidates Must Check in the Final Result

Open the Final Round-2 Result and verify:

  1. NEET UG Rank
  2. Round-1 status
  3. Final Round-2 allotted college
  4. MBBS or BDS course
  5. Final quota
  6. Final allotted category
  7. Candidate category
  8. Option number
  9. Retained / upgraded / fresh allotment status
  10. Any quota/category change within the same institution

Use the Final Result, not screenshots from the earlier provisional or revised provisional lists.

Important — Category / Quota Change in Same College

MCC's result instructions specifically cover candidates whose:

  • category changes; or
  • quota changes

within the same institution and course.

Such candidates must complete the prescribed relieving/re-admission formalities and obtain:

  • online-generated relieving letter where applicable; and
  • fresh online-generated admission letter for the changed category/quota seat.

Do not assume that staying in the same college means no admission action is required.

MCC Round 2 Result Structure

The official result contains candidate-level fields including:

  • NEET Rank
  • Round-1 allotted quota
  • Round-1 allotted institute
  • Round-1 course
  • Round-1 reporting status
  • Round-2 allotted quota
  • Round-2 allotted institute
  • Round-2 course
  • allotted category
  • candidate category
  • option number
  • allotment remarks

This is now the correct source for Hire Guide Education's final Round-2 cutoff extraction.

Quota Mapping — Keep Routes Separate

The MCC final result includes multiple quota codes.

Important routes include:

  • AI — All India
  • SO — Open Seat Quota
  • DU — Delhi University
  • AM — AMU
  • JP — JIPMER Puducherry Internal
  • ES — ESIC
  • IP — IP University
  • NR / JN — NRI
  • SA / SI — AMU Self-Financed routes
  • PS — Self-Financed Merit Seat
  • minority / institutional quota codes

Hire Guide Education must NOT collapse all of these into a generic AIQ quota.

Category Mapping

Final-result category codes include:

  • GN — Open
  • BC — OBC-NCL
  • EW — General-EWS
  • SC
  • ST

and their PwD variants.

For HGE:

  • Open / OBC-NCL / EWS / SC / ST = vertical category
  • PwD = horizontal reservation

PwD must remain separately mapped.

Final Result Analysis — HGE Data Priority

This 2,666-page result should now be treated as the production source for Round-2 allotment and cutoff extraction.

1. Government AIQ MBBS

Build opening and closing AIR separately for:

  • Open
  • EWS
  • OBC-NCL
  • SC
  • ST
  • PwD combinations

Analyse:

  • Round 1 → Round 2 movement
  • top Government colleges
  • newer Government colleges
  • closing-rank relaxation
  • upgrade movement

2. AIIMS MBBS

Analyse each AIIMS independently.

Do not combine AIIMS with ordinary Government AIQ colleges.

Measure:

  • institute-wise opening AIR
  • closing AIR
  • category
  • upgrade movement
  • Round-1 vs Round-2 change

3. Central Universities / Institutes

Keep separate datasets for routes such as:

  • Delhi University
  • BHU
  • AMU
  • JIPMER
  • ESIC
  • IP University
  • Jamia / minority routes where applicable

Institutional and domicile eligibility can produce very different closing ranks.

4. Deemed University MBBS

Analyse separately from Government AIQ.

Required dimensions:

  • college
  • Open/Deemed quota
  • NRI quota
  • category where applicable
  • opening AIR
  • closing AIR
  • Round-1 → Round-2 movement

Fees must be considered when interpreting deeper closing ranks.

5. BDS

BDS must have a completely separate Round-2 analysis.

Analyse:

  • Government Dental Colleges
  • Central/Institutional BDS
  • Deemed Dental Colleges
  • quota
  • category
  • opening AIR
  • closing AIR
  • Round-1 → Round-2 movement

Do not merge MBBS and BDS cutoff ranges.

Reporting Checklist

Candidates allotted a Round-2 seat should prepare:

  • MCC final allotment letter
  • NEET UG documents
  • admit card / scorecard
  • identity proof
  • Class 10 and 12 certificates
  • category/EWS/OBC-NCL certificate where applicable
  • PwD certificate where applicable
  • NRI/institutional documents where applicable
  • college-required originals
  • applicable tuition/admission fee
  • photographs and other institute-specific documents

Always follow the allotted institute's official reporting requirements.

Important MCC Deadline

ROUND-2 JOINING DEADLINE — 18 SEPTEMBER 2026

MCC's schedule also fixes:

Verification of joined candidates by MCC — 19 September 2026

and:

UG academic session commencement — 15 September 2026

The official schedule instructs institutions to treat Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted holidays as working days for counselling compliance.

Round-1 Freeze Resignation Window Continues Separately

Do not confuse the new Round-2 Final Result with the separate resignation notice for eligible Round-1 FREEZE candidates.

That resignation facility continues independently until:

15 September 2026 — 6:00 PM

according to the previously issued MCC notice.
