MP NEET UG 2026 MBBS/BDS mop-up: registration 28 Sep–2 Oct, fresh choices 4–7 Oct

MP DME releases tentative MBBS/BDS mop-up dates: fresh registration by 2 October, mandatory fresh choices by 7 October, result 10 October and reporting by 14 October.

Madhya Pradesh NEET UG 2026 MBBS/BDS mop-up round: registration 28 September–2 October

The Directorate of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh, published a tentative MP State Combined NEET UG 2026 MBBS/BDS mop-up timetable dated 21 September 2026. It opens fresh registration on 28 September, with a closing time of 11:59 PM IST on 2 October 2026. Previously registered candidates do not need to register again, but the timetable explicitly says fresh choice filling is mandatory for candidates participating in the mop-up round.

Official timetable and candidate actions

Fresh registration: 28 September–2 October 2026, up to 11:59 PM. NEET UG 2026-qualified eligible candidates who are not already registered should complete registration; previously registered candidates need not repeat it.

Revised state merit list and eligible-candidate list: 3 October 2026. Check your eligibility and state merit position when published; a merit entry is not a seat guarantee.

Vacancy publication: 3 October 2026. Examine the actual course, college, quota and category positions once issued; this notice contains no vacancy counts.

Fresh choice filling and locking: 4–7 October 2026, up to 11:59 PM. The DME timetable says fresh choices must be filled by participating mop-up candidates. Order only colleges and courses you genuinely wish to join, after checking fees, bonds and eligibility. Do not assume earlier-round choices carry forward.

Mop-up allotment result: 10 October 2026. Check the official portal; the timetable does not promise an allotment to every eligible candidate.

In-person reporting, document verification and admission: 11–14 October 2026, up to 6:00 PM IST on 14 October. Allottees should follow the allotment-specific instructions and carry the required originals; the timetable itself does not provide a full document checklist.

Important resignation and bond distinction

The timetable notes that, as per Rule 15(1)(ज), a seat-leaving bond is applicable to candidates who resign after the commencement of the mop-up round. The schedule does not quantify that bond. Separately, DME's 21 September Round 2 resignation notice says the resignation window is 22 September–1 October, 6 PM, with stated ₹2 lakh non-NRI / ₹10 lakh NRI penalties and ineligibility for later MP state UG rounds for resigning candidates. Do not infer that resigning a joined seat makes you eligible for mop-up. Check your individual category, allotment status and the governing rulebook before taking an irreversible step.

Data Analysis

Registration interval: Five calendar dates, 28 September through 2 October; closes 11:59 PM on 2 October. Choice interval: Four calendar dates, 4 through 7 October; closes 11:59 PM on 7 October. Result date: 10 October. Reporting interval: Four calendar dates, 11 through 14 October; closes 6:00 PM on 14 October. Seat availability: Not yet published in this timetable; quota-, category- and college-wise vacancy totals cannot be calculated. Cutoffs: Not supplied in the timetable; do not use prior-round opening/closing ranks as guaranteed mop-up cutoffs.

The merit list and vacancy publication are scheduled on the same day, 3 October. Candidates should check both before building a fresh preference order. As this is explicitly a tentative timetable, keep watching DME for a revision and follow the candidate portal's live instructions.
