The Department of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Government of Haryana, in coordination with Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences (UHSR), Rohtak, has issued two crucial official notifications governing the Round 3 Counselling Schedule and Round 2 Seat Resignations for MBBS and BDS admissions in the 2026-27 academic session.

1. Crucial Notice: Resignation After Round 2 (MBBS/BDS Courses)
In an official public notice issued on 24 September 2026, the authorities have provided a formal exit window for candidates who joined their allotted colleges following Round 1 and Round 2:
- Who is eligible to resign: Candidates who have joined MBBS/BDS seats in Government, Government-aided, and Private Medical and Dental Colleges in Haryana, including Private and Minority Universities (SGT University, Budhera, Gurugram; Maharishi Markendeshwar University, Sadhopur, Ambala; Al-Falah University, Dhouj, Faridabad; and Sanskaram School of Medical Sciences, Jhajjar under Sanskaram University).
- Resignation Deadline: Up to 03 October 2026 (4:00 PM IST).
- Mandatory Procedure: Candidates must submit their resignation in person at their respective allotted colleges.

3. Mandatory Security Deposit Slabs for Round 3
To participate in Round 3 choice filling, candidates must deposit the requisite security fee via the online portal:
- Government Medical / Dental Colleges (General / Unreserved): Rs. 10,000
- Government Medical / Dental Colleges (SC / SCD / BCA / BCB / EWS / PwBD of Haryana): Rs. 5,000
- Private Medical / Dental Colleges (All Categories): Rs. 1,00,000
*Important Rule:* If a candidate is allotted a seat in Round 3 and fails to complete physical document verification or join the allotted institute by 17 October 2026 (4:00 PM), their security deposit will be forfeited, and they will be disqualified from participating in any further stray counselling rounds.
