Haryana's official MBBS/BDS counselling portal has now activated the Round 2 counselling window.

Haryana Round 2 Is Now Live

The official Haryana counselling portal confirms that:

2nd Round registration for MBBS/BDS 2026-27 is available from 10 September to 12 September 2026, up to 11:59 PM.

Therefore the counselling stage has changed from:

Round 2 Announced / Upcoming

to:

Registration + Choice Filling ACTIVE

Activities Open During This Window

From 10–12 September, eligible candidates can complete the applicable Round 2 activities:

• fresh registration;
• willingness to participate;
• editing of submitted information;
• security-deposit payment;
• fresh Choice Filling;
• Choice Locking.

The final deadline is:

12 September 2026 — 11:59 PM

Round 1 Choices Do Not Carry Forward

Candidates participating in Haryana Round 2 must submit:

Fresh Round 2 Choices

Do not assume Round 1 preferences will automatically be considered.

This is especially important for candidates who already participated in Round 1.

Joined Round 1 Candidates Seeking Upgrade

Candidates who joined their Round 1 seat but want a better seat in Round 2 must complete the required:

• online willingness;
• security-deposit requirement;
• fresh choice submission.

The existing seat remains relevant unless an upgrade is actually allotted according to the official process.

Candidates Not Allotted in Round 1

Previously registered candidates who received no Round 1 allotment can participate in Round 2 according to the official eligibility conditions.

They should log in and complete the required willingness/choice process rather than assume automatic participation.

Candidates Allotted But Not Joined

Candidates who were allotted in Round 1 but did not join are also included among the groups for whom Round 2 willingness is provided, subject to fulfilment of the official conditions.

Fresh Candidates

Candidates who did not register earlier can now use the fresh Round 2 registration facility.

Before submitting the form, carefully verify:

• NEET details;
• domicile;
• category;
• BC-A / BC-B status;
• EWS status;
• PwBD;
• ESM/FF claims;
• private/management eligibility.

BC-A / BC-B Certificate Rule

Haryana's live portal reiterates that BC-A / BC-B candidates must use the applicable Creamy/Non-Creamy Layer certificate.

For admission in 2026-27, certificates issued:

after 1 April 2026

are considered valid under the published rule.

EWS Certificate Rule

EWS candidates must similarly submit the applicable Income and Asset Certificate.

For 2026-27 eligibility, the portal states that the certificate must be:

issued after 1 April 2026

Candidates should correct documentation issues before physical verification.

Security Deposit

Round 2 participants must ensure that the applicable security-deposit requirement is successfully completed.

As per the official Round 2 notice:

Government / Government-Aided seats only

₹10,000

For eligible Haryana:

• SC
• SCD
• BC-A
• BC-B
• EWS
• PwBD

the specified amount is:

₹5,000

Candidates also considering Private / Management seats

Applicable security:

₹1,00,000

Check the official portal before payment and retain the payment receipt.

Choice Filling Strategy

Do not fill colleges randomly merely because Round 2 has opened.

Build the preference order using:

1. genuine college preference;
2. MBBS vs BDS;
3. Government vs Private;
4. State Quota vs Management;
5. minority eligibility;
6. fees;
7. Round 1 cutoff;
8. Round 2 vacancy;
9. realistic willingness to join.

A lower-ranked college should not be placed above a genuinely preferred college merely because it appears easier to obtain.
