🚨 FNB Final Mop-Up Round Announced: NBEMS has released the final mop-up counselling schedule for FNB seats for the 2025 admission session.
⏰ Choice Filling Deadline: 21 September 2026, 5:00 PM IST
Important Dates
Choice Filling: 18–21 September 2026
Choice Filling closes: 21 September at 5:00 PM IST
Allotment Processing: 22–24 September
Final Mop-Up Result: 25 September
Physical Joining: 25 September–1 October 2026
Who Can Participate?
The Final Mop-Up Round is for eligible candidates who are already registered for FNB counselling and remained unallotted in the first and/or second counselling round.
Candidates should verify their individual eligibility under the official FNB Counselling Handbook before filling choices.
Seat Matrix
NBEMS has stated that the Final Mop-Up seat matrix will be published before counselling starts.
🎯 HGE Tip: Do not simply repeat old choices. Review the fresh vacancy matrix first and arrange options according to specialty preference, institute quality, clinical exposure and realistic acceptance.
Important Seat-Loss Rule
⚠️ Candidates allotted a seat in the Final Mop-Up Round who fail to join by 1 October 2026 will lose the allotted FNB seat and their first-year course fee will be forfeited.
This is therefore a commitment-sensitive round.
Important Hospital Deadline
Hospitals with a candidate resignation that can create a vacancy for this round must update the resignation on the counselling portal by:
17 September 2026 — 5:00 PM IST
Late updating can prevent the resultant seat from appearing in the mop-up vacancy matrix.
