Who Is Affected
This alert is for candidates whose names appear in the official AP MBBS Management Quota Phase 1 allotment list, including candidates allotted B1, B2 or CA-SF seats.
Candidates who received no seat, or who decide not to report, should read the Phase 2 rules carefully. Do not assume the same seat will remain available later.
What Allotted Candidates Should Do Now
- Search the official allotment PDF using your NEET roll number, AIR or name.
- Log in through the official Dr NTRUHS portal and download the allotment order.
- Pay the applicable University fee through the official payment gateway.
- Arrange every original certificate, the allotment order, fee receipts and any required bond.
- Report physically to the allotted college well before 2:00 PM on 22 September 2026.
- Pay the applicable tuition and college fees only as directed by the official authority and allotted college.
- Keep stamped acknowledgement and copies of every submitted document.
Important Fees
The official Phase 1 notice states:
Seat Type: CA-SF in new Government Medical Colleges
- University Fee: ₹35,100
- Tuition Fee: ₹12,00,000 per annum
Seat Type: B1/B2 in private non-minority and minority medical colleges
- University Fee: ₹35,100
- Interim Tuition Fee for 2026–27: ₹14,52,000 per annum
- Official Note: Tuition is payable for 4½ years as stated in the notice
Candidates must verify the exact amount shown in their allotment order and official college instructions before payment.
Important Rules
- Failure to report before the deadline leads to automatic cancellation of the allotted admission.
- Original certificates will be verified at the allotted college. Any discrepancy or ineligibility can cancel the provisional allotment.
- A candidate who does not report may participate in Phase 2 under the official rules, but cannot claim the same earlier allotted seat again.
- Candidates already joined in Phase 1 may participate in Phase 2 for sliding when the University issues the fresh schedule and options.
- Free exit is governed by a separate notified schedule. Do not assume it is open unless Dr NTRUHS publishes it.
Hire Guide Education Analysis
The 1,629 allotments show a wide spread across B1, B2 and self-financing Government College routes. The CA-SF group closed between AIR 1,25,279 and 1,92,787 across the seven Government Medical Colleges, while several private-college B-category allotments extended beyond AIR 3,00,000.
These figures are useful for planning Phase 2, but they do not guarantee the same movement. Vacancies will depend on non-reporting, resignations, upgrades, new permissions and the fresh seat matrix.
Admission Strategy
- If the allotted college is acceptable and financially workable, complete reporting before the deadline instead of waiting for a possible later upgrade.
- If considering Phase 2, compare fees, location, hospital exposure, recognition status and the official sliding rules.
- Keep a wider preference list for Phase 2 because vacancies may be uneven across colleges and seat types.
- Do not make decisions using only the last rank. Your eligibility, local status, quota and choice order remain decisive.
Common Mistakes
- Waiting until the final hour to download the allotment order
- Carrying photocopies without the required originals
- Paying money through unofficial agents or links
- Confusing the MBBS MQ result with BDS or Competent Authority counselling
- Assuming a missed Phase 1 seat can be reclaimed in Phase 2
- Treating derived rank ranges as guaranteed future cutoffs
