What Changed?
KNRUHS has added three candidates to the operative MBBS/BDS Competent Authority Quota merit list.
The official addendum contains:
| Merit Serial | NEET UG 2026 AIR | Category | Remark |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1236/A | 94,753 | OC | As per Court Orders |
| 1712/A | 1,17,195 | SC3 | As per Court Orders |
| 9227/A | 3,10,339 | BC-D | As per Court Orders |
These are not merely typographical corrections.
They are new merit-list insertions and must be treated as part of the current counselling merit pool.
Category-Wise Impact
The addendum affects three separate category positions:
- OC — 1 candidate
- SC3 — 1 candidate
- BC-D — 1 candidate
This means category-wise closing positions and inter-se merit order can shift slightly wherever these candidates enter the allocation sequence.
The impact is numerically small at State level, but can still matter in a tightly contested:
College × Category × Phase
combination.
Merit-Rank Interpretation
OC Candidate
AIR 94,753
This candidate enters the merit list at serial:
1236/A
The /A notation indicates an inserted/additional position without renumbering the entire existing merit list.
SC3 Candidate
AIR 1,17,195
Inserted at:
1712/A
This candidate can affect the operative SC3 sequence during allotment.
BC-D Candidate
AIR 3,10,339
Inserted at:
9227/A
This candidate must now be included when analysing BC-D merit order and later category-specific allocation.
Important HGE Data Rule
Do not replace the entire Telangana final merit list with only this three-row PDF.
Instead:
- Keep the existing final merit list.
- Append these three candidates.
- Preserve their special inserted serial numbers:
- 1236/A
- 1712/A
- 9227/A
- Mark source type as:
Merit List Addendum
- Mark reason:
As per Court Orders
- Recalculate operative merit ordering where required.
This prevents duplicate or missing candidates in later cutoff/result analysis.
Does This Change the Phase-1 Deadline?
No separate extension has been published in this addendum.
The current KNRUHS MBBS Phase-1 web-options schedule continues to show:
1 September 2026 — 12:00 Noon
Candidates should therefore not assume that publication of the merit-list addendum extends the web-options window.
What Affected Candidates Should Do
Candidates newly included through this addendum should:
- Verify their details in the official PDF.
- Confirm their category.
- Login to the KNRUHS counselling portal.
- Check whether Phase-1 web-option access is active.
- Exercise all acceptable eligible MBBS choices.
- Arrange colleges in genuine preference order.
- Complete the process before 1 September at 12 Noon.
What Existing Candidates Should Know
For most existing candidates, this three-candidate addendum will not radically change admission chances.
However, exact category merit positions can move slightly.
For cutoff and allotment analysis, HGE should therefore use:
Final Merit List + NCC Corrigendum + 31 August Merit-List Addendum
rather than the 28 August final merit list alone.

Hire Guide Education Advice
Telangana candidates should use only the latest operative merit position.
For Phase-1 analysis, the correct hierarchy is now:
Final Merit List → NCC Corrigendum → 31 August Addendum
Candidates newly included by the court-order addendum should verify portal access and complete eligible choices before the currently notified Phase-1 deadline.
