MCC has activated the Reset option for NEET UG 2026 Round 2 until 7 September at 5:00 PM. Candidates who need to unlock/reset their counselling registration should complete the process before the deadline. Round 2 registration closes 8 September at 3 PM, while payment remains available until 6 PM.

What Has Changed?
MCC's official UG Medical Counselling page now displays:
“Reset option is available upto 05:00 P.M. of 07/09/2026 for Round 2 UG 2026.”
This is a new live candidate-action item for Round 2.
Therefore Hire Guide Education should add:
Reset Registration / Correction Facility — ACTIVE
to the MCC Round 2 dashboard.

7 September 2026 — 5:00 PM
Candidates who need the facility should not wait until the final hours.
Who Should Check the Reset Facility?
Candidates who have already registered for MCC Round 2 should carefully review the information entered in their counselling registration.
If the MCC candidate portal permits a reset for your registration and you need to correct/unlock submitted registration information, use the facility before the official deadline.
Do not use Reset unnecessarily if your submitted information is already correct.

Which Counselling Routes Are Covered by MCC Round 2?
The official MCC Round 2 schedule covers applicable seats under:
- 15% All India Quota
- AIIMS
- Central Universities / Institutes
- Deemed Universities
- JIPMER Puducherry
- JIPMER Karaikal
- AFMC-related MCC process
- ESIC / applicable institutional routes
- other UG seats administered through MCC
MBBS and BDS should remain the primary HGE focus.
B.Sc Nursing is present in MCC's combined UG counselling schedule but should remain separately identified in HGE outputs.
