Haryana Round 1 Result β€” Key Numbers

The official Merit List cum Allotment contains:

6,991 candidates

The separate post-grievance allotment list contains:

2,707 allotted candidates

Therefore approximately:

38.7% of the candidates appearing in the merit/allotment pool received a seat in Round 1.

Around:

4,284 candidates

remain without an allotment in the published Round 1 list.

This percentage reflects the published candidate/allotment lists. It should not be interpreted as the percentage of all NEET-qualified Haryana candidates.

Result Has Already Passed the Grievance Stage

Earlier today, Haryana published a provisional merit-cum-allotment list.

Candidates were permitted to raise discrepancies through the admission portal up to:

2 September 2026 β€” 12:30 PM

The authority subsequently published a separate:

β€œProvisional Allotment of seats (after redressal of grievances)”

Therefore students should now refer primarily to the post-grievance allotment PDF for their current Round 1 allotment status.

What the Allotment Covers

The official result covers MBBS/BDS admissions across:

  • Government Medical Colleges
  • Government Dental Colleges
  • Government Aided institutions
  • Private Medical Colleges
  • Private Dental Colleges
  • SGT University
  • Maharishi Markandeshwar University
  • Al-Falah University
  • Sanskaram School of Medical Sciences
  • other participating Haryana institutions

Allotment has been done using:

NEET UG 2026 Rank + Candidate Category + Submitted Preferences + Seat Matrix + Haryana Admission Rules

Haryana Round 1 β€” Major College Trends

The highest-ranked allotments begin with Government MBBS seats.

At the top of the result:

  • AIR 690 β†’ PGIMS Rohtak MBBS
  • AIR 936 β†’ PGIMS Rohtak MBBS
  • AIR 2,225 β†’ PGIMS Rohtak MBBS
  • AIR 2,906 β†’ ESIC Medical College Faridabad MBBS
  • AIR 4,054 β†’ Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College, Karnal MBBS

This confirms the expected strong preference for:

  1. PGIMS Rohtak
  2. ESIC Medical College, Faridabad
  3. Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College, Karnal
  4. other Government Medical Colleges

Government MBBS seats therefore remain highly competitive in Round 1.

Government BDS Trend

Government BDS begins substantially lower in merit than top Government MBBS.

For example, the published list shows PGIDS Rohtak BDS allotments beginning around the AIR 41,000+ range for Open-category examples.

This illustrates why MBBS and BDS must be analysed separately.

A Government BDS closing rank cannot be used as an MBBS cutoff.

Private / Management MBBS Shows Much Wider Rank Movement

The result demonstrates a very wide admission range for private and Management MBBS seats.

Examples later in the list include Management MBBS allotments at AIRs well beyond:

  • 3 lakh
  • 4 lakh
  • 5 lakh

and even considerably lower merit positions depending on:

College + Management/Minority/NRI Route + Candidate Preference + Eligibility

This is particularly visible in colleges such as:

  • World College of Medical Sciences, Jhajjar
  • SGT University
  • Maharishi Markandeshwar University
  • Al-Falah School of Medical Sciences
  • NC Medical College
  • Adesh Medical College

This does not mean every candidate at those AIRs can obtain every private MBBS college.

The correct cutoff must be calculated separately for each:

College Γ— Course Γ— Quota Γ— Category

NRI Allotments Extend Much Lower in AIR

The official post-grievance result contains NRI-category MBBS allotments at very high AIR values.

Examples include NRI allotments beyond:

AIR 8 lakh, 9 lakh, 10 lakh and 11 lakh

depending on NRI priority/category and institution.

One of the final records in the allotment list is:

AIR 11,24,830 β€” NRI Category IV β€” MBBS β€” Bhagat Phool Singh Government Medical College for Women, Khanpur Kalan

This is a strong reminder that:

NRI cutoff β‰  State Open cutoff β‰  Management cutoff.

All must remain completely separate in HGE cutoff analysis.

BDS Rank Movement Is Also Very Wide

Private BDS allotments extend far deeper into the NEET AIR range.

The result contains BDS allotments beyond:

AIR 10 lakh

for some category/college combinations.

This reflects:

  • larger rank flexibility in private BDS;
  • different candidate preference patterns;
  • private fee levels;
  • category reservation;
  • available seats.

Students should therefore avoid judging BDS chances using Government MBBS cutoffs.

Haryana Reservation / Quota Mapping

The allotment result includes labels such as:

  • OPEN CAT
  • EWS
  • BCA
  • BCB
  • OSC
  • SC DEPRIVED
  • PwBD
  • ESM/FF priorities
  • MGT
  • MINORITY
  • NRI Category I–VI

HGE must preserve these distinctions.

Vertical Categories

Keep the candidate's core reservation category separately.

Horizontal / Special Claims

PwBD and ESM/FF priority should remain separately identifiable.

Quotas

Management, Minority and NRI should not be merged with Government/Open seats.

⚠️ Action Required for Allotted Candidates

The result publication is not the end of admission.

Candidates allotted a seat must now complete the next steps.

Step 1 β€” Pay Tuition Fee

Online tuition fee payment:

2 September to 5 September 2026

Deadline:

5 September 2026 β€” 8:00 PM

Payment must be made through the official admission portal.

Step 2 β€” Physical Document Verification

Candidates who:

  • have been allotted a seat, and
  • have paid the prescribed tuition fee

must appear for physical verification from:

6 September to 8 September 2026

Venue

Sushruta Auditorium Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences Rohtak

Personal appearance with original documents is mandatory.

Step 3 β€” Download Provisional Admission Letter

After successful document verification:

6 September to 9 September 2026

candidates will be able to download their provisional admission letter according to the counselling process.

Step 4 β€” Join the Allotted College

Final Joining Deadline

9 September 2026 β€” 4:00 PM

Missing the prescribed reporting/joining process may affect the allotted seat according to Haryana counselling rules.

Not Allotted? What Should You Do?

More than 4,000 candidates in the published merit/allotment pool do not currently have a seat.

That does not automatically mean counselling is over.

Round 2 opportunities may arise through:

  • seats not joined in Round 1;
  • seats surrendered as permitted;
  • upgrades;
  • newly available vacancies;
  • category conversion where rules permit;
  • private MBBS/BDS vacancies.

Candidates should therefore monitor the official Round 2 vacancy/seat matrix carefully.

Should You Upgrade in Round 2?

Candidates who received a lower-preference college should evaluate:

  • current allotted college
  • fees
  • bond/service conditions
  • hostel
  • patient load
  • location
  • previous Round 2 movement
  • realistic rank gap to desired college

before deciding their next-round strategy.

Do not surrender a usable Round 1 seat purely on an assumption that Round 2 cutoffs will definitely fall.

HGE Cutoff Analysis Rule

For the Haryana Round 1 cutoff database, extract the post-grievance allotment list, not only the initial provisional merit-cum-allotment list.

Cutoffs should be calculated separately for:

College + Course + Round + Category + Quota + Special Claim

Minimum required split:

  • Government MBBS
  • Private MBBS
  • Management MBBS
  • Minority MBBS
  • NRI MBBS
  • Government BDS
  • Private BDS
  • Management BDS
  • reservation-category cutoffs
  • PwBD / ESM/FF where applicable
