MCC NEET PG Counselling 2026: Deemed and Central Internal Quota Matrices Published with 8,244 Seats

MCC has published 7,537 Deemed-University and 707 Central Internal-Quota seats for Round 1; verify quota eligibility, fees and institute terms before choice locking.

MCC NEET PG Counselling 2026: Deemed and Central Internal Quota Matrices Published with 8,244 Seats

Official update: The Medical Counselling Committee has published two new Round 1 PG seat matrices on 14 October 2026: the Deemed-University matrix with 7,537 seats and the Central Internal-Quota matrix with 707 seats. Together, the files contain 8,244 seats across 66 institute codes.

These are quota-specific MD/MS matrices and must not be confused with the previously published DNB matrix or with the wider AIQ/NMC matrix, which was not visible at verification time.

Doctor action: Check whether you are eligible for the exact quota shown, compare institute-level fee and financial exposure, and place only genuinely acceptable choices. Round 1 registration closes at 12:00 noon on 21 October 2026; payment is available until 3:00 PM. Choice filling closes at 10:00 AM on 22 October, with locking from 4:00 PM on 21 October to 10:00 AM on 22 October 2026, as per MCC server time.

Financial and College Decision Support

The matrices establish seat availability only. They do not publish annual tuition, total-course cost, deposits, hostel/mess charges, stipend, service bond, seat-leaving penalty, case load or hands-on training. These facts are not yet officially confirmed by these files.

Deemed-University choices can create major financial exposure. Before locking, obtain the current official fee document and distinguish annual tuition from total-course cost and refundable deposits. For every institute, also compare beds, OPD/IPD, emergency/ICU/OT exposure, supervision, research, workload, location and career fit—not prestige alone.

Important MCC Status Limitation

MCC’s PG home page now links these two matrices, but its headline still states that the broader NMC/NBEMS seat matrix is awaited and the Candidate Activity Board still shows registration only. Therefore, treat these published files as confirmed quota-specific availability, but do not infer that every MCC matrix or portal action is live.

Next step: Filter the matrices by your eligible quota and branch, verify official institute costs and training conditions, and complete choice filling well before the server deadline.
