Haryana NEET UG Counselling 2026 Revised Round 1 Seat Matrix Released

DMER Haryana / UHSR has published a revised tentative MBBS/BDS seat matrix on 31 August 2026.

What Changed?

The important point is that Haryana has not merely re-uploaded the same document.

The official notice board now specifically labels the document:

“Revised - Tentative Seat Matrix for MBBS/BDS Courses for Academic Session 2026-27”

dated:

31 August 2026

The earlier matrix must therefore no longer be treated as the current working version.

Total Seats Have NOT Changed

The revised matrix still contains:

So this is primarily a category / horizontal-reservation redistribution correction, not a change in Haryana's overall MBBS/BDS seat capacity.

Net Effect

The overall BCA-family seat total remains:

241 seats

because one seat has effectively moved from:

BCA → BCA-PwBD

This is exactly why students should not rely on screenshots or manually saved copies of the old seat matrix.

remains subject to the final outcome of the pending Punjab & Haryana High Court case, while admission to the additional 50 seats has been permitted under the interim order.

HGE should continue storing:

200 seats for 2026 Round 1

with a legal-status flag on the additional 50 seats.

BDS Position Remains 634 Seats

The revised matrix continues to include:

Why Students Need to Recheck Tonight

A one-seat redistribution may look small at State level.

But for an individual candidate competing in a specific:

College + Category + Horizontal Claim

it can materially affect the availability displayed during allotment.

This is especially important for:

• PwBD candidates
• ESM/FF candidates
• BCA candidates
• category-specific college preferences

Do not use an old screenshot of the seat matrix for tonight's final preference decisions.

HGE Data Mapping Rule

Replace the earlier Haryana Round 1 matrix in the working database with the 31 August revised version.

Do not create a second independent annual matrix.

What Candidates Should Do Now

1. Open the revised 31 August seat matrix.
2. Recheck all Haryana MBBS/BDS preferences.
3. Pay special attention to your exact category.
4. Check PwBD/ESM horizontal status where applicable.
5. Review Government vs Management vs NRI vs Minority routes.
6. Add all acceptable colleges.
7. Rearrange them in genuine preference order.
8. Save/lock as prescribed.
9. Keep proof of the final submitted choice list.
10. Finish before 11:59 PM tonight.
