The NEET UG 2026 result is officially available from 16 July 2026. NTA has also published the final answer key for the re-examination. Candidates should now stop using expected-score and predicted-rank charts and start planning counselling with the official All India Rank shown on the scorecard.

Registrations increased by only 0.16%, which means student interest remained almost stable.

The major change was attendance. More than 2.79 lakh registered candidates did not appear in 2026, compared with about 66,751 in 2025. The absent count increased by over 2.13 lakh.

Qualified candidates reduced by 1.15 lakh, but the qualification rate among those who actually appeared remained nearly unchanged.

At the latest check, the MCC UG website was still displaying Session 2025 and had not yet listed the complete UG 2026 counselling schedule.
