NEET UG 2026 Fee Refund Bank Details Deadline Extended to 31 July

The National Testing Agency has extended the facility for submitting or updating bank account details for the NEET UG 2026 examination-fee refund.

According to the latest NTA update, only 11,46,401 candidates had submitted their bank details as of 14 July 2026. Candidates who have not yet completed the process can now update their bank account details until:

This refund relates to eligible candidates affected by the cancellation of the NEET UG 2026 examination conducted on 3 May 2026.

Who needs to act?

Candidates should complete the process if they:

Have not yet submitted their bank account details. Previously entered incorrect or incomplete bank details. Are eligible for the examination-fee refund but have not received confirmation of submission. How to submit the details Visit the official NEET UG website. Open the fee-refund or bank-account confirmation link. Log in using the NEET UG 2026 application credentials. Complete OTP-based authentication. Enter the account-holder name, account number, IFSC code and bank name carefully. Upload a cancelled cheque when available. Submit the details and save the confirmation page.

Candidates should recheck the account number and IFSC code before submission. Incorrect bank details may delay or prevent the refund.

The refund update is not a counselling-registration notice and does not affect MCC or state counselling registration. However, eligible candidates must complete the bank-details process within the prescribed deadline to receive their examination-fee refund.
