MCC NEET UG 2026 Round 3 Revised Seat Matrix Out: Updated Clear, Virtual & Newly Added Seats Released
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, has officially released the REVISED Round 3 Seat Matrix and Vacancy Breakdown for NEET UG 2026 admissions across All India Quota (AIQ), Central Universities, Deemed Universities, AIIMS, JIPMER, and ESIC medical and dental institutions.
This revised release updates and supersedes the preliminary Round 3 vacancy lists published on 23 September 2026, ensuring that all reconciled institute seats, approved capacity additions, and round-2 progression rosters are accurately represented.

3. Crucial Strategic Instructions for Candidates
- Re-Check Saved Choices Against the Revised Matrix: Because seat allocations in specific colleges and categories have been updated in the revised PDFs, candidates who have already saved choices must log in to http://mcc.nic.inhttp://mcc.nic.inhttps://mcc.nic.in/ug-medical-counselling/ and review their choice sequence.
- Never Ignore Virtual Vacancies: Virtual vacancy seats represent thousands of high-ranking seats in premier medical colleges (such as AIIMS, state GMCs, and central institutions). If an admitted candidate upgrades, their seat is instantly allocated to the next candidate in line who listed that college. Candidates who exclude virtual vacancies severely restrict their upgrade potential.
- Mandatory Fresh Choice Submission: Choices from Round 1 and Round 2 are completely invalid. If fresh choices are not submitted in Round 3, no seat will be allotted, even if you are registered.
- Stray Vacancy Round Disqualification: Under the Hon'ble Supreme Court directives, candidates allotted a seat in Round 3 who do not join will forfeit their security fee and be permanently debarred from participating in subsequent Stray Vacancy rounds across both All India Quota and State Quota counselling.
