Reservation and seat-matrix caution

Tripura-domicile candidates are considered under the applicable state reservation rules for government seats. A non-domicile candidate choosing a government medical college is eligible only for unreserved seats irrespective of SC/ST/OBC-NCL status. For private colleges, the bulletin applies Central Government reservation rules. PwBD reservation is horizontal and is to be reflected in the seat matrix if an eligible PwBD candidate registers.

No seat total is stated in this alert. Annexure-C of the operative bulletin says the seat matrix will be published soon. NMC permission or any historical seat list should not be treated as the operative Round 1 matrix.

Candidate action checklist

  1. Read the government, private and in-service eligibility clauses before registration.

  2. Register through the official NIC portal and upload the route-specific documents.

  3. Pay the applicable registration fee and security deposit and complete final submission by 5 November, 10:00 AM.

  4. Monitor the portal for verification discrepancies and correct them by 5 November, 3:00 PM.

  5. Fill and review choices between 3 November, 5:00 PM and 5 November, 5:00 PM. The bulletin states that choices auto-lock at the end of the window if not manually locked.

  6. Recheck the later operative seat matrix before finalising choice order.

What this means for your rank and choice order

Because the operative seat matrix is not yet published, a branch-wise opportunity or closing-rank estimate would be premature. Build a provisional preference list now, but revise it only after checking the official matrix. Keep government MD/MS eligibility, specified in-service routes and private-college eligibility separate; they are not interchangeable.
