Telangana NEET UG Counselling 2026: MBBS/BDS Management Quota Phase I Reporting Extended
KNRUHS has extended the reporting deadline for candidates allotted MBBS or BDS seats under Management Quota Phase I.
New deadline: 21 September 2026, 6:00 PM. Pending allotted candidates must complete admission at the allotted college before this time.
What Has Happened
Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Telangana issued the MBBS/BDS Management Quota Phase I allotments on 15 September 2026. The original reporting deadline was 19 September 2026 at 6:00 PM.
An official KNRUHS notice dated 19 September 2026 extended reporting to 21 September 2026 at 6:00 PM.
Important Dates
Activity: MBBS/BDS Management Quota Phase I reporting
- Earlier Deadline: 19 September 2026, 6:00 PM
- Revised Deadline: 21 September 2026, 6:00 PM
- Candidate Action: Complete reporting and admission requirements at the allotted college before the revised deadline.
Activity: College portal update
- Deadline: 21 September 2026, 6:30 PM
- Who Handles It: Principals of medical and dental colleges
- Candidate Note: This is an institutional portal deadline, not additional reporting time for candidates.
Who Is Affected
This update applies to candidates allotted an MBBS or BDS seat under Telangana Management Quota Phase I who have not completed reporting.
It does not automatically apply to Competent Authority Quota, AYUSH or another counselling route.
What Candidates Should Do Now
- Download and recheck the Management Quota Phase I allotment order.
- Confirm the allotted college’s reporting desk timing.
- Carry all required original certificates, photocopies, allotment order and payment documents.
- Verify the exact course, quota and applicable college fee before payment.
- Finish reporting and admission before 6:00 PM on 21 September 2026.
- Keep proof of completed admission and payment.
Important Rules
- The notice extends reporting only; it does not change the allotted course, college or quota.
- Candidates must satisfy all admission requirements prescribed by KNRUHS and the allotted college.
- Do not confuse the college portal update deadline of 6:30 PM with the candidate deadline.
- Review applicable management-quota fee, retention, resignation and forfeiture rules from official sources before acting.
Hire Guide Education Analysis
This extension is especially important because Management Quota admissions can involve higher fees and additional college-level payment formalities. Verify the complete payable amount and obtain an official receipt.
This is not a fresh allotment result. Admission remains subject to eligibility, original-document verification, payment and compliance with official rules.
Admission Strategy
Candidates satisfied with the allotment should report early. Candidates considering later rounds should first understand the financial and eligibility consequences of non-reporting, resignation or upgradation.
Future admission depends on NEET rank, quota, course preference, vacancies and round movement. No admission can be guaranteed.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Assuming MBBS and BDS fees are the same
- Reporting after 6:00 PM because the college portal closes at 6:30 PM
- Paying without verifying the official college and quota
- Carrying incomplete original documents
- Confusing Management Quota Phase I with Competent Authority Quota Phase II
- Relying on unofficial deadline posts
