Telangana NEET UG Counselling 2026: MBBS Competent Authority Quota Phase II Reporting Extended
KNRUHS has extended the reporting deadline for candidates allotted MBBS seats under Competent Authority Quota Phase II.
Revised deadline: 21 September 2026, 4:00 PM. Pending allotted candidates must complete reporting at the allotted medical college before this time.
What Has Happened
Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences issued an official notice dated 19 September 2026 extending the reporting time for Telangana MBBS Competent Authority Quota Phase II counselling.
The revised reporting deadline is 21 September 2026 at 4:00 PM.
Important Date
Activity: MBBS Competent Authority Quota Phase II reporting
- Revised Deadline: 21 September 2026, 4:00 PM
- Candidate Action: Complete reporting and admission formalities at the allotted medical college before the revised deadline.
Who Is Affected
This update applies only to candidates allotted an MBBS seat under Telangana Competent Authority Quota Phase II who have not completed reporting.
It should not be confused with Management Quota Phase I, BDS, AYUSH or another counselling route.
What Candidates Should Do Now
- Download and recheck the Phase II allotment order.
- Contact the allotted medical college and confirm its reporting-desk timing.
- Carry the allotment order, required original certificates, photocopies and payment documents.
- Verify the allotted college, quota and applicable fee before payment.
- Complete reporting before 4:00 PM on 21 September 2026.
- Keep the official admission acknowledgement and fee receipt safely.
Important Rules
- The notice changes the reporting timeline; it does not issue a fresh allotment.
- Admission remains subject to eligibility, original-document verification, payment and compliance with KNRUHS rules.
- Candidates should use the deadline applicable to Competent Authority Quota Phase II, not a Management Quota deadline.
- Do not rely on unofficial posts or assume that a later institutional portal time gives candidates extra reporting time.
Hire Guide Education Analysis
This is a separate counselling event from the Telangana Management Quota Phase I extension. Competent Authority Quota Phase II candidates must follow the 4:00 PM deadline stated for their route.
Candidates should report early because document verification and college-level payment formalities may take time. Admission depends on eligibility, NEET rank, quota, allotment, document verification and compliance with official rules.
Admission Strategy
Candidates satisfied with the allotted MBBS seat should complete reporting promptly. Anyone considering non-reporting, resignation or a later round should first verify the official consequences for eligibility, seat retention and security deposit.
No admission can be guaranteed. Later opportunities depend on rank, category, quota, choices, vacancies and round movement.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Confusing Competent Authority Quota Phase II with Management Quota Phase I
- Reaching the college close to the 4:00 PM deadline
- Carrying incomplete original documents
- Paying without verifying the official college and quota
- Depending only on social-media deadline posts
