  • in view of the All India Quota UG / State counselling schedule published by MCC.

This is an official extension — not an unofficial or expected change.

This includes applicable candidates under:

  • Government Quota
  • Management Quota
  • Minority seats
  • NRI seats
  • Tamil Nadu Government School 7.5% Reservation
  • other applicable Round 2 MBBS/BDS categories

Important for Upgraded Candidates

Candidates upgraded in Round 2 should carefully follow the instructions applicable to their new allotment.

Check:

Allotted College + Course + Quota + Category + Allotment Order + Reporting Requirement + Required Documents

before completing admission.

Round 3 Strategy

Once Round 2 reporting closes, the actual Round 3 vacancy position can change because of:

Non-Joining + Upgradation + Resignation/Surrender as permitted + Remaining Vacancies + Newly Added/Withdrawn Seats

Therefore, students planning Round 3 should wait for the official updated vacancy position rather than relying only on the original Round 2 vacancy matrix.

If you have a confirmed Round 2 MBBS/BDS allotment and intend to retain it, complete the admission process within the revised official deadline.

For Round 3 planning, compare:

Do not surrender or ignore a confirmed seat merely because you expect a better subsequent-round allotment.
