Tamil Nadu NEET UG Registration Ends 23 July

Tamil Nadu Medical Selection Committee has announced the final deadline for submitting applications for MBBS and BDS admission for the 2026–27 session.

The online application window had opened on 29 June 2026. Following the declaration of the NEET UG 2026 result on 16 July, candidates have been given one additional week to complete and submit their applications.

No further extension

The Selection Committee has clearly stated that there will be no extension beyond the announced deadline because applications must be scrutinised, lists of ineligible candidates must be published, and a grievance-redressal opportunity must be provided before counselling begins.

More than 41,000 completed applications had already been received when the notice was issued.

Who must apply?

Candidates seeking Tamil Nadu MBBS/BDS admission through:

Government quota Government-quota seats in self-financing colleges Management quota Minority quota NRI quota State private university medical and dental colleges, as applicable

Government-quota and management/minority/NRI applications are governed by their respective official prospectuses and application options displayed on the Tamil Nadu Medical Selection Committee portal.

Immediate action for candidates Open the official Tamil Nadu Medical Selection Committee website. Select the MBBS/BDS 2026 application link. Choose the applicable quota/application. Enter NEET UG 2026 result and candidate details accurately. Upload all required certificates and supporting documents. Complete the applicable application-fee payment. Submit the application before 23 July 2026, 5:00 PM. Download and save the submitted application and payment receipt. Important warning

Do not wait until the final day. Incomplete registration, failed payment, incorrect NEET details or missing documents may affect application scrutiny and counselling eligibility.
