NMC Releases MBBS Seat Matrix 2026–27
NMC has released the official MBBS seat matrix for 2026–27, including new colleges and increased seats.
The National Medical Commission has released the Seat Matrix for Undergraduate MBBS Courses for the Academic Year 2026–27, excluding INIs.
The seat matrix includes approvals granted by MARB/NMC for new MBBS medical colleges and increase in intake capacity of existing medical colleges.
This update is important for NEET UG 2026 aspirants because MBBS seat availability directly affects MCC counselling, state counselling, college master, seat matrix and predictor planning.
Students and parents should note that the final counselling seat matrix may still be updated by MCC or respective state counselling authorities as per official counselling schedules.
