The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala has announced a fresh application opportunity for candidates seeking admission to Medical and Medical Allied courses for 2026–27.

What Changed
CEE Kerala has opened two separate facilities:
- Fresh Application: For candidates who have not submitted a KEAM 2026 application earlier.
- Add Course / Claims: For candidates who already have a KEAM 2026 application and now want to add Medical & Medical Allied courses or eligible reservation claims.
Courses Covered
The Medical/AYUSH courses include:
- MBBS
- BDS
- BAMS
- BHMS
- BSMS
- BUMS
Medical Allied courses covered under KEAM are also included as applicable.
Who Is Affected
#### Fresh Applicants
Candidates who:
- Have qualified NEET UG 2026
- Want Kerala Medical/AYUSH admission
- Did not submit any KEAM 2026 application earlier
can now submit a fresh application.
#### Existing KEAM Applicants
Candidates who already applied for courses such as:
- Engineering
- Architecture
- Pharmacy
- Other KEAM courses
should not create a second application.
They should use the KEAM 2026 Candidate Portal to add Medical & Medical Allied courses and eligible claims.
⚠️ Important: Multiple applications may affect candidature. Existing KEAM applicants should use the existing application instead of creating a fresh one.
Reservation Claims That May Be Added
Eligible candidates can add applicable claims such as:
- NRI
- Minority
- EWS
- Community reservation
- Special reservation
- Income-based fee concession
Supporting certificates must be uploaded correctly wherever required.
⚠️ Document Warning: Reservation or quota claims may not be accepted later if the required supporting documents are not submitted within the permitted application window.
What Students Should Do Now
#### For Fresh Applicants
- Visit the official CEE Kerala website.
- Open KEAM 2026 – Online Application.
- Complete candidate registration.
- Enter personal, academic and NEET UG 2026 details.
- Select Medical & Medical Allied courses.
- Upload required documents and reservation certificates.
- Pay the applicable fee online.
- Complete final submission.
- Download and save the Application Acknowledgement Page.
#### For Existing KEAM Applicants
- Open the KEAM 2026 Candidate Portal.
- Login using Application Number and Password.
- Select the option to Add Course.
- Add Medical & Medical Allied courses.
- Add applicable NRI/Minority/Category or other eligible claims.
- Upload supporting certificates.
- Complete payment if additional fee is applicable.
- Save the updated application acknowledgement.
Application Deadline
Current reports quoting the CEE notification state that the facility is available until:

The official CEE portal confirms that the fresh Medical & Medical Allied application/course-addition facility is active. The direct 2026 notice PDF containing the deadline was not retrievable during this check, so students should verify the live deadline on the CEE Candidate Portal before final submission.
Important Rules
- Only NEET UG 2026 qualified candidates are eligible for Medical/Medical Allied admission.
- Existing KEAM applicants should not submit another fresh application.
- Reservation documents should be uploaded during the permitted window.
- Fee payment must be completed online.
