The final-list footnotes state that # marks provisional allotment subject to the screening committee decision and marks NRI provisional allowance. The complete list contains 93 rows with a # annotation and 4 rows with a annotation.

What this means for your rank, branch and category

  • If allotted: the immediate decision is whether to join by the verified deadline. CEE states that non-joining causes loss of the present allotment and all existing options.

  • If considering vacating: CEE applies the same option-loss condition to a candidate who vacates the Phase 1 seat before Phase 2 option processing.

  • If not allotted: this result does not itself open a new choice window. Wait for a separate CEE Phase 2 instruction.

  • For choice strategy: compare only like-for-like college, course and category cells in the official last-rank table. A high overall last rank may come from a different category or institutional route and cannot be used as a general forecast.

Important provisional cases

CEE says SC/ST reservation claims under KIRTADS scrutiny remain provisional. Certain NRI claims involving sponsor affidavits and visa-validity defect rectification are also provisional and can be cancelled if the prescribed documents are not submitted within the stipulated time. All candidates must produce the originals needed to establish basic eligibility and any reservation, quota, fee-concession or NEET-score-relaxation claim.
