J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations has published the NEET UG 2026 Online Registration notice for candidates belonging to the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir / Ladakh.

BOPEE has also published a Corrigendum to Notification No. 139-BOPEE of 2026 dated 06 August 2026.

This is an important stage change for candidates seeking MBBS/BDS admission through J&K BOPEE counselling.

The official BOPEE notification register now confirms commencement of the online registration / UT merit-list preparation process.

Two Official Items Published

J&K BOPEE currently lists:

1. Online Registration of NEET UG – 2026 candidates belonging to UT of J&K/Ladakh
2. Corrigendum to Notification No. 139-BOPEE of 2026 dated 06-08-2026

⚠️ Candidates must follow the corrigendum together with the original registration notice.

Do not rely only on an older copy of Notification 139.

Who Should Check This Notice?

This update is important for NEET UG 2026 qualified candidates who:

• Belong to Jammu & Kashmir
• Belong to Ladakh and are covered by the BOPEE-linked admission process
• Want to participate in J&K MBBS/BDS counselling
• Need inclusion in the applicable UT merit process

AYUSH and other NEET UG routes should remain separately tracked wherever BOPEE issues separate counselling schedules or eligibility instructions.

Registration & UT Merit Process

Eligible candidates are required to follow the online process notified by BOPEE for preparation of the applicable merit list and subsequent counselling.

Candidates should access registration only through the official BOPEE website.

Documents Candidates Should Keep Ready

Candidates should keep applicable originals and scanned copies ready, including:

• NEET UG 2026 Score Card
• NEET UG 2026 Admit Card
• Class 10 / Date of Birth Certificate
• Class 12 Marks Card / Certificate
• J&K Domicile Certificate where applicable
• Ladakh eligibility/residence documents where applicable
• Category Certificate
• PwD Certificate where applicable
• EWS / reserved-category documents where applicable
• Identity proof
• Passport-size photograph
• Other documents prescribed by BOPEE

Important Corrigendum Warning

Because BOPEE has published a corrigendum immediately after the original registration notification:

Candidates should read both the original Notification No. 139-BOPEE of 2026 and its corrigendum before final submission.

A corrected condition/date/document requirement in the corrigendum must take precedence over the earlier version.

Deadline Verification

HGE has confirmed that the official registration notice and corrigendum are live on BOPEE's notification register.

However, during the latest verification the BOPEE PDF server did not reliably return the underlying document.

For this reason, HGE is not publishing an unverified exact closing time from third-party reports.

Candidates should check the latest BOPEE PDF/portal directly before submission.

What Candidates Should Do Now

1. Open the official J&K BOPEE website.
2. Check Notification No. 139-BOPEE of 2026.
3. Read the corrigendum issued against it.
4. Complete NEET UG registration through the official candidate service.
5. Upload all required documents.
6. Verify domicile/category details carefully.
7. Save the final submitted application.
8. Keep checking for the Provisional UT Merit List.
9. Check seat matrix before preference filling.
10. Follow subsequent counselling/allotment instructions only from BOPEE.

Important HGE Advice

Do not complete the application using only screenshots or older copies of the registration notification.

Because a corrigendum has already been issued, candidates must follow the latest corrected BOPEE instructions.
