Who Should Check This?
This update is important for candidates who:
- Participated in Post Diploma DNB Round 2
- Submitted choices during 21–23 July 2026
- Opted for upgrade after Round 1
- Did not receive a seat in Round 1 but remained eligible
- Are waiting for their final Round 2 allotment

- Login to your candidate account.
- Download the Seat Allotment Letter.
- Verify your specialty and allotted hospital.
- Contact the hospital immediately.
- Confirm the reporting location and institutional requirements.
- Report physically with original documents before the deadline.
- Collect proof of reporting and joining.

Candidates should not wait until the last day because document verification, medical examination, bond execution or hospital formalities may require additional time.
⚠️ Round 2 allotment is final and non-upgradable.
A candidate allotted a seat in Round 2 must join the allotted institute within the prescribed timeline.
What Happens If You Do Not Join?
Failure to report and join within the notified timeline may result in:
- Cancellation of the allotted seat
- Loss of admission
- Forfeiture of the first-year course fee
- Ineligibility for subsequent rounds, subject to NBEMS rules
Do not leave the seat unattended while waiting for another counselling option without checking the applicable forfeiture and eligibility rules.
