Where to Apply

The official prospectus instructs candidates to:

1. Visit the GMCH Chandigarh website.
2. Open Admission.
3. Click Candidate Registration.
4. Complete registration.
5. Login using the generated Application ID.
6. Fill personal and academic details.
7. Select the required course/category.
8. Upload photograph, signature and required certificates.
9. Review the complete application.
10. Pay the application fee online.
11. Final-submit the form.
12. Print/save the submitted application.

One Common Application Form

GMCH states that candidates have to fill a single centralized application form and may select multiple courses.

Additional application fee is payable for each course selected.

Important Document Uploads

For MBBS/BDS candidates, applicable uploads include:

• NEET UG 2026 Result Card
• Date of Birth / Matriculation Certificate
• Class 10 Passing Certificate
• Class 11 / 10+1 record as applicable
• Class 12 / 10+2 marks and passing certificate
• UT Chandigarh Pool eligibility certificate where applicable
• Reserved-category certificate
• OBC-NCL certificate where applicable
• PwBD Disability Certificate and prescribed affidavit where applicable
• OCI / Foreign Indian / NRI documents where applicable

Important Chandigarh Pool Rule

Candidates applying for UT Chandigarh Pool MBBS seats must satisfy the applicable Chandigarh eligibility criteria specified in the prospectus.

Do not assume Chandigarh residence alone automatically establishes eligibility.

Read the relevant UT Pool criteria and upload the prescribed certificate/undertaking.

PwBD Candidates

For MBBS PwBD claims, GMCH states that only disability certificates issued through designated centres approved under the applicable NMC requirements will be accepted.

The prescribed Schedule-I affidavit is also relevant.

MBBS First Counselling

Date: 20 August 2026

The MBBS counselling covers applicable:

• UT Chandigarh Pool General seats
• SC seats
• OBC-NCL seats
• PwBD seats
• Foreign Indian Student / applicable NRI route

according to the prospectus.

BDS First Counselling

Date: 21 August 2026

Applicable BDS General / reserved / PwBD / institutional-NRI categories will be considered according to the official prospectus.

AIQ Seats Are Separate

15% All India Quota seats are handled through:

Medical Counselling Committee — MCC

Candidates should not confuse MCC AIQ registration with the separate GMCH Chandigarh centralized application required for applicable Chandigarh/institutional seats.

Original Documents

GMCH states that candidates must bring original certificates/documents at counselling.

Candidates should also keep separate printouts of the submitted online application for each course applied for.
